Terms & Conditions
These terms cover quotes, fitting work and supply-only orders placed with Finesse Flooring.
Quotes and estimates
Quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Final pricing may change if measurements taken on site, subfloor condition or specification of materials differs from the original enquiry.
Bookings and deposits
A deposit may be required to secure materials and a fitting date. Deposits cover the cost of ordered stock and are non-refundable once goods have been cut or ordered to your specification.
Supply-only stock orders
Stock listed on our shop is sold subject to availability. We'll confirm stock, lead times and delivery arrangements after your order. Cut lengths and made-to-order items are non-returnable unless faulty.
Site preparation
Unless agreed in writing, you're responsible for clearing the room prior to fitting. Any additional preparation (uplifting existing flooring, screeding, moving heavy furniture) can be quoted separately.
Payment
Balance is payable on completion of fitting or on delivery of supply-only orders, unless otherwise agreed. Late payment may accrue interest at the statutory rate.
Workmanship and warranty
Our fitting is carried out to industry standards. Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer of the flooring supplied. Any concerns with workmanship should be reported to us within 14 days of completion so we can inspect and put things right.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by UK law. Otherwise, our liability in relation to any job is limited to the value of that job.
